Four clients relaxing on a couch during a group IV visit at home

Last night was worth it. This morning is negotiable. The Hangover Blaster brings a full liter of fluids plus prescription relief for the headache, the nausea, and the heartburn to your bed, your hotel room, or the short-term rental where the rest of the party is still asleep.

The nausea medication typically works within minutes, and most clients feel substantially better in roughly the length of the infusion itself. The Hangover Blaster is $285, everything included: the liter of fluids, vitamins, glutathione, and all three medications, plus an experienced medical professional at your door.

What is in it

  • Fluids: A liter of IV fluid to replace what dehydration took.
  • Vitamin C, B12, and Glutathione: To help your system recover and process.
  • Zofran, Pepcid, and Toradol: Prescription medications for nausea, heartburn, and headache, administered by our experienced medical professionals under physician medical direction.

Who it is for, and when to book it

You know the morning. A headache with a pulse, a ceiling fan that is somehow too loud, and water that sounds right until it lands wrong. Houston gives you plenty of occasions: Rodeo season, a Galveston beach weekend, a wedding in The Woodlands, a bachelorette party that went long.

We come to homes, hotels, offices, and short-term rentals across Greater Houston and surrounding areas. Book solo or for the whole group: each person chooses their own IV, and groups of 4 or more can ask about our group discounts. For large groups, we bring additional providers so the whole group infuses at once.

One honest line: If you are vomiting uncontrollably, confused, or cannot stay awake, that is alcohol poisoning territory and it needs 911, not an IV.

How it works in the body

A hangover is mostly dehydration, inflammation, an irritated stomach, and depleted vitamins, all at once. Drinking water works on one of those, slowly, through a stomach that is not cooperating. An IV works on all four: fluids go straight into your bloodstream, Zofran calms the nausea, Toradol works on the headache, and Pepcid settles the acid. Most IVs run 30 to 60 minutes, and your provider continuously monitors the infusion until completion.

Questions about The Hangover Blaster

How fast does it work?

The nausea medication typically works within minutes, and most clients feel substantially better in about an hour, roughly the length of the infusion. You are rehydrated, the headache medication is working, and food starts sounding like a good idea again.

How much does it cost?

The Hangover Blaster is $285, and add-ins are $25 each if you want to build on it. Insurance does not cover IV therapy. You pay by card at the time of service. The only additions are the $25 pre-IV medical screening and a $100 fee for appointments after 8 PM, which are subject to provider availability.

Is it safe to get an IV while hungover?

For most healthy adults, yes. Every visit starts with a health history and vitals check by an experienced medical professional, and medications are given under physician medical direction. If anything looks like more than a hangover, we will tell you straight and point you to the right level of care.
