The first responders behind The IV Society
Most IV companies are started by entrepreneurs who hire medical people. We are medical people who spent our careers showing up at your worst moments, long before mobile wellness was a business category.

Claire Richardson grew up in Spring, graduated from Klein High School, and has spent 28 years in the medical field as an RN and licensed paramedic. Most of that time was spent in the emergency department and Labor & Delivery, starting IVs on dehydrated toddlers and laboring mothers while three other things were going wrong in the next bay.
Tom Richardson is a retired fire battalion chief and Air Force veteran with more than 35 years in the fire service. He spent his career answering calls across North Houston and Montgomery County.
Between the two of us, we have placed more IVs than we could begin to count in ambulances, ERs, delivery rooms, and living rooms at 2 AM. We founded The IV Society in The Woodlands and Magnolia because we realized our neighbors deserved hospital-grade IV therapy without the four-hour wait under fluorescent lights.
What we run on
Our mission is simple. We bring honest, professional IV care to people where they actually are, without the upsell or the wellness-industry fog.
-
Say the real thing.
Every price is published. We do not sell anything. We help guide you in selecting the right IV to help you make the best choice based on your symptoms and budget.
-
Show up like family.
We treat everyone the way we would treat a loved one. All of our providers do, that is one of the things we expect.
-
Clinical standards in your living room.
Every visit is handled by an experienced medical professional, either a Registered Nurse or a Nationally Registered or Licensed Paramedic. They bring backgrounds from emergency rooms, ICUs, L&Ds, NICU, Surgical, Hospice, and critical care.
-
Know when an IV is not the answer.
Chest pain, trouble breathing, or slurred speech is 911, not us. We will always be people over profit. Your health and safety are always our first priority.
Who shows up at your door
Every visit is handled by an experienced medical professional who has started thousands of IVs under far worse conditions than your kitchen.
